The first phase investment estimated around RM30 million will include a built-up area of 120,000 sq.ft factory building with an estimated monthly production capacity of 35 million m2. The company plans to expand the factory with further investment in the third year under the second phase expansion to increase its capacity to an estimated monthly output of up to 72 million m2.
The company headed by Mr. Judi Widjaja Leonardi in his capacity as president of PT Ekadharma International Tbk. has over 25 years of experience in tape manufacturing business. The company will invest several million Ringgit Malaysia in automation control system as the management team strongly believe in automation and computerized equipment throughout the production process which will enable them to keep close track of production and inventory, minimize manual labour and maintain consistency and quality in their products.
